Fluorescence filters: when you see 485/20 nm for a filter does it mean that the band pass is 20 nm in total or +/- 20 nm?
485/20 means 485 +/- 10 nm. So the total band pass is 20 nm and the filter will allow light between 475 nm and 495 nm to go through.
