Eon Microplate Spectrophotometer
The new Eon Microplate Spectrophotometer is the latest in BioTek’s line of high performance, high value microplate instruments. With its monochromator-based optics, extended incubation range, optimized shaking capability, and optional cuvette port, Eon accommodates a wide range of assay applications in the life science laboratory, from DNA, RNA and protein quantification to long running kinetic assays. The Eon can even perform low volume (2 µL) nucleic acid and protein quantificiaiton as well as conventional 1 cm measurements with the Take3 Micro-Volume Plate.
Epoch Microplate Spectrophotometer
The Epoch Microplate Spectrophotometer merges the throughput, speed and convenience of microplate formats with the performance of a spectrophotometer. With this advanced microplate spectrophotometer, your laboratory can now quantitate nucleic acids in the low UV range, or automatically run spectral scans for peak absorbance measurements without using filters, and perform conventional EIAs at virtually any wavelength. With the Take3 Micro-Volume Plate, very low volume (2 µL) measurements can be made, as well as 1 cm BioCell and cuvette measurements.
The Epoch Microplate Spectrophotometer is an innovative microplate reader with a high-powered xenon flash lamp, tunable monochromator and low UV capability. Epoch Microplate Spectrophotometer can read 6-, 12-, 24-, 48-, 96-, and 384-well microplates or can read low volume (2 µL) samples in the unique Take3 Plate. Powerful Gen5 Data Analysis Software provides for quick A260/A280 ratios, pathlength correction, protein analysis, basic ELISAs, and much more.
