405 Touch™
The new 405 Touch Microplate Washer incorporates a state-of-the-art, high resolution LED backlit touch screen user interface for intuitive and flexible onboard control of 96- and 384-well washing. A 5.7 inch graphical color display seamlessly guides users through protocol development, instrument maintenance and daily use. Protocols are run with only two touches. Multiple USB flash drive ports enable convenient file transfer and storage. Easy operation is guaranteed with a quick menu and predefined sample methods. For PC environments and those requiring 21 CFR Part 11 compliance, the 405 Touch can be controlled with optional Liquid Handling Control™ Software. Diverse workflow requirements are accommodated with a range of configurations maintaining all the features of BioTek’s industry leading washers including high strength biomagnetic separation, fast and efficient vacuum filtration, patented Dual-Action™ manifolds, optimized cell washing for loosely adherent monolayers and a built-in ultrasonic cleaner. New key features of the 405 Touch include automated internal 4-buffer switching and quick release manifold designs. Unattended washing of up to 50 plates is available with the BioStack™ Microplate Stacker.
The new ELx405 Select Deep Well is the world's first deep well microplate washer that aspirates and dispenses into 96- and 384-well plates <50 mm in height. ANSI/SBS standard microplates are also accommodated resulting in a total solution for all of a laboratory's solid bottom microplate washing needs.
ELx50™ Microplate Strip Washer
The ELx50 Washer is now a truly flexible platform that provides washing capabilities unsurpassed in its class. Newly available models with biomagnetic separation and vacuum filtration capabilities make the ELx50 an excellent choice for automating the wash steps of 96-well magnetic or polystyrene bead assays, such as those developed on the Luminex® xMAP® technology platform.
With its microprocessor controlled syringe pump, the ELx50 delivers exceedingly precise and accurate wash performance. Users not requiring an integrated stacker can expect the same great bead washing performance as BioTek's industry leading full plate washers but here in a amore compact footprint. Comprehensive onboard software makes programming quick and easy. Custom magnets, in either flat or ring designs, incorporate high-energy neodymium iron boron magnets for rapid separation of micrometer and nanometer magnetic beads with superior retention. A fast and efficient vacuum filtration module allows vacuum to be adjusted with a range of settings for flexibility with polystyrene beads when using various filter pore sizes and sample viscosities. The washer’s modular platform allows for processing standard solid bottom plates used in a laboratory’s many traditional ELISAs and cell based assays. As a welcome upgrade from manual processing, the ELx50 Washer will bring to your lab an all inclusive wash solution offering consistent performance and unattended operation.
EL406™ Combination Microplate Washer Dispenser
The EL406 Microplate Washer Dispenser from BioTek Instruments offers fast, full plate washing capability, and choice of either peristaltic or microprocessor controlled syringe pump based reagent dispensers – all in one compact instrument. To afford you ultimate flexibility in this microplate washer line, the EL406 is now available with its newly released module for full plate washing of magnetic microspheres. This magnetic bead washer is ideal for the growing number of multiplex assays, bead-based ELISAs, and other magnetic separation applications.
